Photography, working with people and an affinity with nature are my passions. My career in photography has allowed me to enjoy these pleasures on a daily basis.

The last 2 years of freelancing has afforded me the opportunity to work with some fantastic clients and met some really great people enjoying their special moments.

In September 2009 I passed the stringent qualification process of New Zealand Institute of Professional Photography (NZIPP) to achieve qualification in commercial photography.

 10+ years of working for Taranaki Newpapers has provided me the opportunity to hone my skills, covering advertising to hard news and everything in between. Working on many different assignments daily has developed an ability to read a situation and make quick judgements on the best photo opportunities.

My career highlights to date are:

- Winner of Photography Section, Taranaki Art Review 2007

- Finalist in the Qantas Media Awards 2006

- Runner Up in NZ Surf Lifesaving Media Awards 1996

- Photograph of Pukekura Park featuring on latest Monopoly Board
